Pedro Manuel Sobral Pombo and Srinivas Reddy (both at IIT, Gandhinagar) invite scholars to submit paper proposals for their panel “Practices of defiance: Resisting colonial maritime power”.
The panel is organized within the Third CHAM (Centro de História d’Aquém e d’Além-Mar) International Conference, scheduled in Lisbon on 12-15 July 2017 and devoted to “Oceans and Shores: Heritage, People and Environment”.
